Sparkbot collects only the data necessary to operate its features, including but not limited to:

• Discord User IDs: Used to identify users for leveling, moderation, and other bot-related functions.
• Configuration Data: Such as role rewards, prefixes, and settings specific to your server.
• Server (Guild) IDs: Used to store and apply server-specific settings (e.g., prefixes, configurations, XP settings).
• Message Activity Metadata: Used to track XP and levels (we do not store message content, only counts or triggers).
• Moderation Records: Such as warnings, kicks, bans, and mutes (if your server uses these features).

2. How We Use Collected Data

• Provide the bot’s functionality (e.g., XP/leveling, moderation, server configurations).
• Improve and maintain the bot’s performance.
• Ensure fair use of features (e.g., preventing abuse, handling cooldowns).
• Assist with support and troubleshooting.

3. How Data Is Stored

• Data is securely stored in our database.
• Access to data is limited to the Sparkbot development team.
• We do not share data with third parties, except as required by law.

4. Data Retention

• User and server data are kept as long as the bot remains in your server.
• When Sparkbot is removed from a server, associated server data may be deleted after 30 days.
• Inactive data may be automatically purged to reduce storage.

You may request data deletion by:

We will respond to valid requests within 30 days.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share user data with third parties. Data may only be shared if required:

Sparkbot is intended for users 13 years and older, in compliance with Discord’s Terms of Service. If you are under 13, you may not use Sparkbot.

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of storage is 100% secure. Use of Sparkbot is at your own risk.

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. Updates will be posted in our support server.
